Service Description

i) Helps protect against hepatitis A, a contagious liver infection spread through contaminated food, water or close contact with an infected person. ii) Vaccination helps prevent illness and reduces the risk of spreading the infection to family members, even when children have no symptoms. iii) Suitable for children from 12 months old, subject to the vaccine used and doctor assessment. iv) For the usual inactivated vaccine, 2 doses are given at least 6 months apart. Completing both doses provides long-term protection. Your doctor will confirm the schedule for the vaccine used.
